11 chrysanthemums with eucalyptus in a planter

Eleven single-head chrysanthemums give this arrangement its rounded, densely petalled flowers, one bloom on each stem. Their white petals have a soft pink tint. Ten eucalyptus stems add grey-green leaves alongside foliage dyed burgundy-pink, bringing a stronger contrast to the pale flowers. Branches rise between and above the blooms for a loose outline at different heights.

The natural-coloured woven planter adds texture beneath the flowers, finished with a white MURCI ribbon. The arrangement is ready to display in its own container, so there is no need to find a vase or rearrange the stems. It suits someone who enjoys pale flowers with a more pronounced foliage colour. Place it on a sideboard, side table or reception desk with enough space around it for the branches.

These are cut flowers set in floral foam. Check the foam daily and add a little water slowly at the base whenever needed to keep it moist. Avoid wetting the petals or overfilling the container. Keep the arrangement away from radiators and direct sunlight, and leave the stems in the foam.
