Bouquet of 11 lavender hydrangeas

Eleven hydrangea stems in a soft lavender shade make up this full, rounded bouquet. The closely gathered florets give it a textured surface, with subtle changes in tone across each flower head. White wrapping frames the flowers, finished with a white MURCI ribbon.

This is an all-hydrangea bouquet for someone who enjoys generous flower heads and a gentle, cool-toned palette. It works well as a birthday gift or a personal gesture for a loved one who favours lilac flowers. The stems are tied and wrapped, so the bouquet will need a vase of water once the wrapping is removed.

Flower-head size and the overall volume of the bouquet can vary with the season. The stem count remains exactly 11 and the soft lavender colour palette is retained. Allow space for the broad flower heads when choosing a vase and a place to display them; the bouquet does not have a fixed diameter.

Use a clean vase with fresh water. Recut the stem ends and remove any leaves that would sit below the waterline. Check the water level daily and replace the water regularly. Keep the bouquet away from direct sunlight and sources of heat.
