11 Country Blues garden roses

Eleven Country Blues garden roses give this bouquet a closely gathered shape, with the blooms sitting at slightly different heights. Their raspberry-pink colour is deeper inside the folds and softer across the broad outer petals. Green foliage beneath the flowers outlines the lower part of the bouquet and shows through the clear wrapping.

Country Blues has a distinct rosette at its centre. Small, tight folds open into overlapping layers of wider petals, ending in loose, rippled edges. Some flowers show a more open face while others retain a cupped shape. With eleven rose stems gathered together, you can see those differences from bloom to bloom without losing the rounded outline of the bouquet. This is a useful choice for someone who prefers the full, peony-like form of garden roses and wants a single named variety in a strong pink shade.

Clear film with a ribbed edge frames the flowers and leaves their petal texture visible. Pale MURCI ribbons fall below the binding point. Part of the CAFÉ NOIR collection, this eleven-stem version is a wrapped bouquet intended for a vase, with a gathered presentation that sits naturally in the arms.

Once the bouquet is home, remove the wrapping, trim the stem ends and place the flowers in a clean vase of water. Remove any leaves that would sit below the waterline. Change the water regularly and keep the roses away from direct sunlight, radiators and other sources of heat.
