31 pink French roses in a planter

This arrangement brings together 31 pink French roses in a woven decorative planter. Their open petals have deeper pink centres and pale, almost white edges. The roses sit at different heights, with a few blooms rising above the fuller, rounded base to give the arrangement an open outline.

Strands of beads decorate the natural-toned planter, while white tissue paper and translucent ribbons finish the base of the flowers. It is a generous rose arrangement for someone who prefers a gift that can be displayed in its own container, with no separate vase needed. Choose a clear spot on a table or sideboard so the open petals have room and do not brush against a wall or other objects.

The stems are held in floral foam. Check the foam each day and add a little water at the base of the flowers when needed, keeping the petals, tissue paper and woven container dry. Place the arrangement away from radiators and direct sunlight. To move it, support the planter from underneath rather than lifting it by the ribbons or flowers.
